Sodium bicarbonate (NaHCO₃) is a versatile ingredient widely used in the food industry as a leavening agent, acidity regulator, and neutralizer. When heated, it releases carbon dioxide, allowing natural dough expansion in bakery products.
With purity above 99% and a pH of approximately 8.2 in a 1% solution, it is stable, non-toxic, biodegradable, and supplied as a fine white powder.
Certified FCC and USP (E500(ii)), compliant with Codex GSFA (quantum satis usage), it offers excellent stability in tropical climates and uniform particle size for homogeneous mixing.
