Paraffin Wax (Food Grade)
Protection, Gloss and Natural Preservation
Food-grade paraffin wax is used as a coating and protective agent for various food products such as cheeses, fruits, confectionery, and pastries. It forms an effective barrier against moisture and oxygen, extending shelf life while improving visual appearance.
Available in solid blocks or granules, paraffin wax has a melting point between 50 °C and 60 °C depending on formulation. It is colorless, odorless, and chemically stable, making it fully compatible with food contact applications.
Chimtec paraffins comply with FDA, EU, and Codex standards and can be blended with microcrystalline waxes for enhanced resistance.
Storage: Dry place at ambient temperature, away from heat sources
Packaging: 25 kg blocks or 20 kg granule bags
