Monopropylene glycol (C₃H₈O₂) is a multifunctional ingredient used in cosmetics for its humectant, solvent, and stabilizing properties. It helps retain moisture in creams, lotions, deodorants, gels, and perfumes.
Colorless, odorless, and non-irritating, it has a minimum purity of 99.5% and a density of 1.04 g/cm³. Compliant with USP, FCC, and E1520, and compatible with halal and kosher processes.
